Microdosing From Home During a Pandemic

Microdosing From Home During a Pandemic

Hey, Arih here from Schedule35's creative team and I’ve been in quarantine for 52 days, more or less. The days seem to blur into the next and just like you, I've lost count.

Let’s rewind to the beginning of this shitshow. It feels like years but it wasn’t too long ago when countries all over the world began implementing social distancing measures. For many, that meant staying at home while almost all businesses closed up shop. A lot of people lost their jobs and livelihoods, and some didn’t. I’ve been damn fortunate to fall under the latter and get a steady paycheck while working from home. I’m part of the lucky few.

Working from home is new territory for me. Although it shouldn’t be because, you know, it’s home…

The first week was particularly tough as I tried to get my bearings — establishing a routine, getting rid of distractions and resisting the urge to get shitfaced before 2pm.

I started microdosing Schedule35 (200mg) during the second week and immediately, I felt the difference. I experienced an obsessive level of focus once I started a work task. Prior to microdosing, I would start a new design document and end up in a TikTok rabbit hole watching 12 different people make instant coffee. I still don’t get TikTok.

And to some degree, microdosing has helped level out my mood and emotions during a time where those things feel like they are being tested every day. My empathy levels have spiked during the regimen which has helped keep my thoughts in perspective and not spiral. In other words, it has helped me get through some unbearable Zoom calls.

After two weeks of consistently microdosing, I stopped noticing these effects, at least consciously. Eventually, the focus and empathy naturally became a part of my day-to-day without even thinking and in my opinion, this is where the regimen really shines. All of the effects that help with productivity and mood should now be running in the background. You shouldn’t physically feel anything tangible at this point. It’s like your brain just wrote a program for itself and it’s running on autopilot.

This entire situation we’re all in is undeniably shitty. But I try to find slivers of silver lining every day. And without sounding like the guy on some cheesy infomercial that airs at 2am, microdosing has really helped me achieve this.

Anyways, stay safe and take care of yourselves. I'm about to take 200mg and get some shit done.

This sounds exciting as I have loads of school work to do. Can't wait to get my package

Definitely felt more productive during my cycle, it's a subconscious effect not as immediate as people would expect. Start your cycle with some black coffee and soon your focus and mental clarity will improve with every micro dose and that is when productivity will increase.

I've only done 2 days so far, and I already notices I felt more... "alive" Lighter, brighter, and less cravings.

I'm going to try my first time microdosing this pandemic. I had talked to a friend about microdosing early on in the pandemic but only recently went out of my way to try it out myself.
